The Charles Pictet Architectes Associés FAS SIA office was created in 2002 and produced a series of objects mainly located in Switzerland. Culturally committed, the practice of office architecture is available from several angles, construction of contemporary villas, apartment buildings, transformations and renovations of heritage properties. Many of the office's achievements have been recognized with architectural prizes in Switzerland. The Vaudoise Distinction of Architecture (2000), Der Beste Umbau (2008 and 2014), the Distinction Romande of Architecture (2010 and 2014), the Prix Hochparterre (2011) and Das Beste Einfamilienhaus (2016).

Atelier Martel was born in 2009 in the eponymous street in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The architects Marc Chassin, Stéphane Cachat and Laurent Noël decide to regroup there within the same entity and to participate in the development of joint projects under the name Atelier Martel. Basing his practice on an idea of ​​collective and interdisciplinary production, Atelier Martel defines his production through his commitment to the social dimension of architecture and his capacity for artistic and cultural expression. The workshop offers a contemporary vision of the total work where art, territory and architecture are united in an inseparable whole. With Chapelle international, the Swiss architect Charles Pictet collaborates with Atelier Martel, to deliver an exploratory architectural reading, interpreting the principles and pushing their logic to the point: dialogue of the horizontal world of offices with the verticality of the housing towers, pivoting of the built masses at 45 ° to optimize the sunshine of the façades, opening up of the landscape onto the rail network and distant views… A generous, rational and rigorous architectural proposal which offers great use value in a controlled economy.
